Professional Service

Dr. Ernest Boyer, known for his work on the Engaged Scholar, believed that higher education should be judged equally across three areas: Teaching, Research AND Service.  He believed the key to colleges and universities being relevant to the public good, depended upon this “three legged stool”.  My professional service is dedicated to advancing civic engagement, community-based research and service learning.
